A road has reopened after emergency services responded to the scene of a gas leak in Auckland's Milford this morning.
Police were alerted to the leak on Shakespeare Rd at about 11.05am.
Officers were assisting Fire and Emergency (FENZ) with traffic management.
"Road closures are in place along Shakespeare and Alma Roads and East Coast and Shakespeare Roads," police said earlier today.
Auckland Transport said at about 12.20pm that Shakespeare Rd had reopened.

"Cordons have now been removed in the area," a police spokesperson said in an update, stating the leak had been "resolved".
"Police would like to thank members of the public for their patience and cooperation."
