Police say they no longer have concerns for the welfare of a Chinese visitor who was missing for several days in Christchurch.
Yesterday police appealed for information on the location of the 41-year-old, who they held "serious concerns" for after she was last seen in Stewart St near the inner-city on Saturday.
In an update today, Christchurch Police said it has received information regarding her whereabouts.
"As a result of the information received, Police have established the woman is safe and there are no longer concerns for her welfare," a spokesperson said.
"Police would like to thank all those who contacted us as a result of our appeal for information."
