'Concerns' held for children as Auckland woman still sought

Police have concerns for the children of an Auckland woman who has a warrant for arrest.

Authorities launched a fresh plea for assistance to find Emma Ferguson, a Mt Roskill woman wanted by police.

On April 8, police said the 36-year-old was believed to be somewhere within Auckland.

This area has now been expanded to "the upper North Island".

She was believed to be with her three children — aged one, two and five.

"Police have concerns for her children’s safety," a spokesperson said.

Police were urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 111.
