The Wallabies have added another New Zealander to their coaching staff as legendary All Blacks assistant coach Mike Cron joins fellow Kiwi Joe Schmidt's team.
Cron, confirmed to be joining the Wallabies as an assistant coach by Rugby Australia, has more than 30 years of coaching experience, 15 of which was with the All Blacks. He has worked across six continents and was most recently in a consulting role with World Rugby.
The scrum doctor has played a major role in several World Cup victories by New Zealand, including the All Blacks' back-to-back wins in 2011 and 2015, as well as with the Black Ferns in 2022.
Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt said Cron's record of success and experience would add value to the team.
"Mike has added tremendous value in every programme he has been involved with and brings a wealth of knowledge to our coaching group."
The Wallabies and All Blacks were set to meet in September at Sydney's Accor Stadium to contest the Bledisloe Cup.
