A car crashed into the front of a Pagani store in Kerikeri this afternoon, leaving one person seriously injured.
The person left in a serious condition was the driver, an 85-year-old man, the NZ Herald reports.
CCTV footage shows a white vehicle crashing into the front of the store, breaking glass and sending mannequins to the floor.
Police said it responded to the incident at around 1pm on Kerikeri Rd.
"A vehicle has crashed into another vehicle, and then into a building. No serious injuries have been reported and police are making inquiries into the circumstances of the crash."
St John Ambulance said it was notified of the incident on Kerikeri Rd at 1.09pm.
"We sent an ambulance, a first response unit and an ops manager to the scene, and then treated and transported a patient to Whangarei Hospital in a serious condition."
