A Brisbane toddler found himself stuck on Saturday after climbing into a claw machine.
A video posted to Twitter by Queensland Police shows an officer's attempts to rescue three-year-old Ethan as he sat surrounded by soft toys.
His family and other onlookers watched as police responded.
Despite his circumstances, the adventurous toddler appeared to stay relatively calm, following instructions as police worked out how they were going to get him out.
Officers had no choice but to smash the glass, ordering Ethan to move to the corner of the box and cover his eyes. He was unharmed.
After being lifted from the glass box Ethan ran straight into the arms of his parents.
"You won a prize," one of the officers joked.
"Which one do you want?"
Brisbane Police said: "We try and keep an eye on our kids as best as we can.
"What I can say, and the good thing about that, is the child was comforted by the parents who were close by, and it was good that our officers were able to remove that young fella safely."
