Man charged following fatal two-car crash near Queenstown

A man has been charged after a person died following a two-car crash near Queenstown last month.

The crash occurred on State Highway 6 on the morning of December 16.

A second person was seriously injured in the incident.

The 28-year-old is due to appear in the Queenstown District Court on Monday, January 29, charged with excess blood alcohol causing death.

"Further charges are under consideration," police said.
