Schools closed due to asbestos fears have been given the all-clear after a nearby fire saw a number of buildings including temporary accommodation destroyed.
Crews were called to Coronation Rd in Māngere Bridge shortly before 3am.
Auckland Council has since tested samples collected near the site of the fire, which showed no signs of asbestos, Te Whatu Ora Medical Officer of Health Dr Denise Barnfather said in a statement.
Mountain View School, OneSchool Global and early learning centre Tadpoles were all advised to shut their doors this morning following the fire.
A second early learning centre, Namoa Christian Preschool, was also forced to close.

However four families – possibly up to 40 people – are now homeless after the temporary accommodation they were living in was destroyed.
The housing was made available to families of a church community who needed help.
It’s believed an electrical issue may have causes the fire, which is not believed to be suspicious.

A Fire and Emergency (FENZ) spokesperson earlier told 1News multiple structures were affected.
Fourteen fire trucks attended the scene.
