Police concerned for woman with dementia missing in Christchurch

Police are seeking the public's help locating a woman with dementia missing in Christchurch.

Yeongpyo Hong, 81, was last seen around Memorial Ave about 11am today, police said.

She is wearing a black and white vest, pink T-shirt, navy pants, and a blue hat.

Hong has dementia and does not speak English.

She will be wearing a bracelet with her daughter Eunok’s name and details on it.

Police and her family have concerns for her welfare.

Anyone who has seen Hong or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
