Mathew Perry fans have hit back after comedian Kevin Brennan made "disgusting" jokes about the actor's death.
Brennan, a former Saturday Night Live writer, posted on X after Perry's death saying: "DROWNED IN A HOT TUB. HAHAHAHA."
In another comment, he said: "I didn’t mock it. I just thought it was funny. But I do love it when junkies die."
People have hit back at the comedian, with fans saying he's just "trying to stay relevant".
One X user labelled Brennan as "ghoul", another saying he's "a lowlife human".
Others said the comments were "disgusting".
Brennan has doubled down on the remarks, reposting tweets and articles about his comments.
The Friends actor was reported dead on Sunday, after reportedly drowning at his LA-area home.
Sources said he was found in a jacuzzi at the home, no drugs were found at the scene and no foul play is suspected.

Perry is best known for his role as Chandler Bing in Friends, and starred in all 234 episodes of the show's 10 seasons.
Yesterday the Friends cast broke their silence on their co-stars death, saying they were "utterly devastated".
"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," their statement reads.
"There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
"In time we will say more, as and when we are able," the statement continues. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world," PEOPLE reported.
The message was signed by Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc and Schwimmer.
