One person has died after a house fire in Auckland's New Lynn this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Kohekohe St address at about 7am.
Three fire crews initially attended and two more were later called, a Fire and Emergency spokesperson said.
"Two crews wearing breathing apparatuses went in," the spokesperson said.
St John and police also responded to the blaze.

"One person has died following a house fire in New Lynn this morning," a police spokesperson said.
"Police are working with Fire and Emergency NZ to determine the circumstances of the fire."
FENZ said the fire was in a downstairs area, and was extinguished at 8.10am.
Specialist fire investigators are on the scene.
