A woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting on Auckland's Queen Street last month.
Dariush Talagi, 24, is still being sought by police.
The incident on August 3 saw two people shot - one in the head and one in the abdomen - after a fight.
"The 23-year-old female accomplice of wanted man Dariush Talagi has been taken into custody," police said.
She is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and is due in court this week.
Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Bolton said the investigation team "remains committed" to finding Talagi.
Residents in the area reported hearing several loud bangs and people yelling. (Source: 1News)
"We continue to remind any associates that we are still looking into, and following up, information that is being provided to us.
"Anyone found to be aiding or assisting Talagi to evade Police in any way, may be liable to prosecution for being an accessory after the fact," he said, adding Talagi is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
Anyone who sees him is urged to call 111.
