1 dead, 3 seriously injured after crash on SH39 in Waikato

One person has died and three others are seriously injured after a crash involving a truck and two other vehicles on State Highway 39 in Waikato this afternoon.

The crash took place on a section of SH39 in Ngāhinapōuri about 3.20pm.

One person died at the scene, while three others were seriously injured.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene but has now reopened.
