Person rescued from burning home on Auckland's North Shore

A person has been rescued as flames engulfed a home on Auckland's North Shore this morning.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand received calls at 5.43am about a home being on fire in Totara Vale.

Two people were inside the building, one evacuated while another was trapped. FENZ said this person had now been rescued.
