Woman critical after being hit by car in West Auckland

A woman has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a car in West Auckland’s Henderson this morning.

Police say the woman was struck by the vehicle at the intersection of Universal Drive and Lincoln Road just before 11am.

St John dispatched an ambulance to the scene, where they treated the woman and rushed her to Auckland Hospital.

The woman remains in critical condition.
