Two people die after crash near Levin

Two people have died following a crash on State Highway 57 just north of Levin last night.

One person was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition and three people sustained minor injuries.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash which occurred just before 10pm at Koputaroa.

The road was closed overnight but has since reopened.
