Person dies following two-car crash near Greymouth

One person has died and three others have been injured following a two-car crash near Greymouth on Saturday afternoon.

Police say they were called to the scene on State Highway 7/Arnold Valley just after 6.15pm.

The road is closed and diversions are in place.

An investigation into the circumstances behind the crash is underway.
