Car hits power pole in Tauranga, five injured

Five people have been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Tauranga in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police said the car went into a power pole on Cameron Rd near the racecourse.

St John says five people were taken to hospital - one in a serious condition, three in a moderate condition and one with minor injuries.
