Person in critical condition after fire in Auckland's Newmarket

One person has been taken to Auckland’s Middlemore hospital in critical condition after being burned in a Newmarket grass fire.

Fire and Emergency NZ confirmed they attended the grass fire at 2:30pm.

It has since been contained and one person burned in the fire has been taken to hospital in critical condition.
