Person dies after getting trapped under truck at Pōkeno workplace

One person has died after getting trapped under a truck in a workplace incident south of Auckland.

Police received a report of a person trapped under a truck in Pōkeno shortly after 6pm on Friday evening.

Emergency services attended, but police say the person died at the premises on Dean Road.

WorkSafe has been notified.
