Chilean daredevil wingsuits in and out of active volcano

A former military pilot with nerves of steel has become the first person to fly with a wingsuit in and out of an active volcano.

After years of preparation and planning, Sebastian Alvarez launched himself out of a helicopter above Villarica Volcano in Chile.

He descended to almost 10 metres inside the volcano before exiting at the breakneck speed of 180 km/h.
