Sophie Pascoe has won gold in the women's 200m individual medley SM9 at the Tokyo Paralympics on Wednesday night.
Pascoe, the world record holder in the event, hung on to win what was her fourth medal in Tokyo, just ahead of Hungary’s Zsofia Konkoly.
The victory gives her a historic 11th Paralympic gold and takes her career medal tally to a whopping 19.
Pascoe won her heat earlier on Wednesday by over five seconds in the fastest time of the three heats.
Just prior to Pascoe’s triumph, Jesse Reynolds finished seventh in the men's 200m individual medley SM9.
