Nearly 150,000 hearts are being hand-painted on a wall in London to remember the victims of Covid-19.

The mural will stretch for hundreds of metres opposite Britain's houses of Parliament.

Family members of victims of the coronavirus are hand painting the hearts.

The campaign group behind the mural has called for an inquiry into the British government's handling of the pandemic.

Nearly 127,000 people in Britain have died from Covid-19.
