Pedestrian fighting for life after being hit by car in Auckland

A pedestrian is fighting for life after being hit by a car in Auckland.

The incident took place on Green Lane West in Greenlane shortly before 11am.

The victim is being treated at Auckland Hospital.

Drivers can expect delays as the road is closed between Great South Rd and Wheturangi Rd.

A female pedestrian died in Nelson yesterday after being struck by a vehicle in the central city.
