Man dies after showing up injured at Whakatāne Hospital

Police are investigating the death of a Whakatāne man after he showed up to the local hospital in a critical condition.

After arriving late last night, the man had died just a short time later from his injuries.

Investigations into how the man was hurt are still ongoing.

Anyone who may have information relating to the incident is advised to call police on 105 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
