Person killed in motorcycle crash near Nelson

A person has died after their motorcycle crashed near Nelson this morning.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, police said this afternoon.

It crashed on State Highway 6 in Hira, northeast of Nelson, at around 10.35am. The road has since been reopened.
