Cyclist seriously injured in Auckland crash

A cyclist has been taken to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition after colliding with a car on Auckland's North Shore. 

Police say they were called to the incident in Glenfield just after 11 this morning. 

Parts of Glenfield Road remain closed between Bentley Ave and Kaipātiki Road. 

Diversions are in place and motorists are being asked to avoid the area while the serious crash unit is examining the scene.
