New Zealand passport ranks amongst the most powerful in the world

New Zealand's passport has been named amongst the world's most powerful, ranking number nine alongside the Australian passport.

Iceland and Lithuania were also in the top running spots in the Henley Passport Index, which measures the range of access each passport has.

Singapore and Japan tied for first place, while the US and UK dropped to 6th.
