Forget dry July, how about going plastic free for the month?

Plastic Free July starts today and is challenging New Zealanders to reduce the amount of plastic we use and waste.

It comes as a nationwide single use plastic bag ban began around the country today.

Seven Sharp's Tamati Rimene-Sproat has been challenged and is going to give Plastic Free July a go.
