Multiple people injured after crash on SH2, Hauraki District

Multiple people have sustained injuries after a serious crash on SH2 in Karangahake.

Emergency services were called at about 2.10pm, police say.

Early indications are that two people have received serious injuries and two others, minor injuries in the incident.

The eastbound lane towards Waihi is currently blocked and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
