A woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition following an incident in South Auckland this afternoon.
Police have told 1 NEWS they are investigating after a woman was taken to Manukau Superclinic at approximately 3pm in a critical condition.
She has since been transferred to Auckland Hospital, a police spokesperson said in a statement.
Police are speaking to a number of people over the matter and are not actively seeking anyone else at this time, the spokesperson said.
