Police respond to chemical incident in Palmerston North overnight, find person dead

Police are looking into a sudden death in Palmerston North early this morning.

Emergency services were called to a property in Milson at about 2.30am.

Police told 1 NEWS they don't have anything to indicate the death was suspicious but the circumstances were still unclear.

Police earlier confirmed they were attending a chemical incident.
