Former Warriors half Mason Lino named to make Knights debut against Dragons

Former Warriors half Mason Lino will make his debut for the Knights against the Dragons this weekend, named to start at five-eighth for Newcastle.

Lino, 25, signed with the Knights at the end of 2018, with the Warriors unable to guarantee the young halfback future game time at the club.

With Kalyn Ponga returning to fullback, having opened the season in the halves, Lino will take the reigns of the side in the number six jersey, partnering halfback Mitchell Pearce.

The Knights currently sit 10th on the NRL ladder, with one win and two losses from their opening three matches.
