Blues winger Caleb Clarke is hailing the impact of superstar teammate Rieko Ioane, following his involvement in the side's three-match Super Rugby winning run.

With try scoring displays against the Sunwolves and Highlanders, Ioane scored his seventh try in his last three matches against the Stormers at Eden Park last weekend, seeing the Blues win three in a row for the first time since 2015 in the process.

Speaking to 1 NEWS today, 20-year-old Clarke couldn't help but gush over the impact of having Ioane in his side, learning from the world's best winger every day.

"Rieko's still young. Getting to look up to someone like that, [I] get to learn off him as well," Clarke said.

"It's awesome. Just as much, you want to compete with him. Coming back in to mark him a little bit, [I] get to learn off him as well.

"He's doing awesome, I have no doubt he'll probably do the same over this weekend. It'll be good to watch him do his thing."

Ioane will most likely find himself in the Blues' starting side to face the Waratahs in Auckland this weekend, looking for a fourth straight victory.
