Royal watchers and hoping more nuptials are on the horizon.

The royals may be denying the rumours, but royalists are getting their hopes up that Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's relationship is back on.

UK tabloid papers are speculating the couple are back together after Ms Ferguson, known as Fergie, was listed as the Duke of York’s "official partner" on a trip to the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix with daughter Beatrice.

Yesterday, Fergie posted a selfie with her daughter Beatrice to her Instagram of 182,000 followers captioning the image #familytime.

The palace has declined the relationship is back on. A spokesman for Fergie told The Sun the couple are just "good friends".

"The Duke and Duchess of York continue to be good friends and nothing has changed in their relationship," the spokesman said.

The couple, who married in July 1986, have been separated for more than two decades.

The couple split after Fergie was photographed having her toes sucked by lover John Bryan on holiday in France. But she and Prince Andrew remained close.

The couple reportedly share homes in Windsor and Switzerland and friends say the pair are "virtually inseparable nowadays", according to The Sun.
