A two-car crash which happened yesterday in Coromandel has not injured any members of rising New Zealand metal band Devilskin injured, their manager says.

Six people were hurt in a crash yesterday on State highway 25A about 12.50pm, with two people moderately injured and four others suffering minor injuries.

Images from the scene showed one of the cars involved was wrapped with the logo of Devilskin - a Hamilton-based metal band.

Band manager James Southgate told 1 NEWS that the crash did not involve any of the found band members.

The car in fact belongs to a close friend of the band members, who has their logo on the side of his vehicle.

The friend - who was driving the Devilskin vehicle - was one of those taken to hospital.

"We're hoping that he has a speedy recovery," Mr Southgate said.

Devilskin won New Zealand Music Awards in 2014 and 2017, including Best Rock Album in 2017.
