Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel addressed the audience.

Survivor Farid Ahmed also spoke of the forgiveness he has towards the alleged gunman that killed his wife at Al Noor mosque on Deans Ave.
