New Zealand Rugby and the Crusaders have been in conversations over a potential name change, following the Christchurch shootings earlier this month.
After a gunman opened fire on two separate Christchurch mosques on March 15, the Crusaders have found themselves under pressure in regards to their branding, with both their name and logo a reference to the medieval crusades - in which Christians targeted and killed Muslims from 1095 and 1492.
The Crusaders have said that they are listening to feedback over their current name, while NZ Rugby CEO Steve Tew told Radio New Zealand that his organisation have also had discussions as to the future of the brand.

"We're talking with them all the time...(but ) we haven't committed to a timetable at this point in time," Tew said.
"(When) there are still flags flying at halfmast, I think everyone is still respectful of the moment we are in, but we'll certainly get on with it alongside the Crusaders in due course."
Meanwhile, the Crusaders have taken a first step towards changing any images that could be conceived as being in poor taste following the Chrustchurch attacks, announcing that the pre-match tradition of sword-wielding horseman riding around AMI Stadium won't take place at the next home game against the Brumbies next week.
