New Plymouth is home to an unlikely attraction that's earned a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor.
It's an unusual accolade for a cemetery, but when you see what the volunteers who tend this park have done, you'll understand why.
The volunteers, who wish to remain anonymous, tend to Te Henui Cemetery as if it was their own property.
"I try to come here as often as possible - I aim for seven days a week," one volunteer told Seven Sharp.
New Plymouth District Council arborist Conrad Pattison has high praise for the angels.
"They just love the place and spend so many hours here. They put such a great effort into it," he said.
Te Henui is the Taranaki region's oldest public cemetery.
With the ongoing care of its volunteer angels, its future is in good hands.
