California community comes together for four-year-old boy who lost much-loved dinosaur collection in wildfires

November 30, 2018

A community in California has come together for a four-year-old boy who lost his much-loved dinosaur collection in the destructive Camp Fire.

Riley Wooten's enormous collection was wiped out when his family's home was burned down in the wildfires, which destroyed nearly 19,000 homes after igniting on November 9.

The young boy's treasure trove of dinosaurs has since been restored after his aunt let the community know on Facebook - and soon, packages filled with the plastic animals started coming in.

The ABC's Ananda Rochita has the heart-warming tale of a little boy's loss and community spirit.
