The Duchess of Sussex is impressed by what New Zealand is doing to help women get into the film industry.
Meghan Markle made the comments last night after visiting Courtenay Creative - a new training centre for those keen to get into film - with Prince Harry.

Co-founder Jamie Selkirk says he told the Duchess, who's a former actress best known for her role in US drama Suits, about a short film competition that helps spot budding creatives.
"It's quite useful to have some women on the team, obviously with young people coming through, young females coming through to the industry," he told 1 NEWS.

"So she was really supportive of all that and thought that's the coolest thing she'd heard."

Mr Selkirk added the royals were blown away by the artwork and costumes at the event.
