Canterbury police seek public's help after 11-year-old goes missing

Police are seeking the public's help in finding an 11-year-old Christchurch girl who hasn't been seen since yesterday afternoon.

Maddison Riley left her Parklands home around 4.30pm.

Canterbury Police have posted a photo of the child, and say they have concerns for her safety.

"Anyone who has seen Maddison or has information that could help us find her is urged to contact their local police station," authorities wrote on the department's Facebook page.
