Six people reportedly assaulted by two offenders in Greymouth

Six people have reportedly been assaulted by two offenders in Greymouth this morning.

The victims were transported to hospital, one with serious injuries.  

Police were called to an Arnott Heights at around 3:30am.

The two alleged offenders were an 18 and 19-year-old man who have been charged with assault with intent to injure.

They are scheduled to appear in Christchurch District Court on 29 October.

Greymouth Police would like to hear from anyone who has information about this incident.
