New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison is set to play rugby coach Eddie Jones in a film based on Japan's historic Rugby World Cup win over South Africa.

Japan beat the Springboks 34-32 in their first pool match at the 2015 tournament in what's been described as the "biggest shock in rugby history, bar none" .

Morrison will be joined by fellow Kiwi actor Sam Neill in the biopic. Neil will play Eddie Jones' father.

Eddie Jones, an Australian, now coaches the England rugby team.
