Patrons at a bar in France have experienced the terrifying side of a timeless joke, after being forced to flee from their seats due to a young race horse running amok inside the premises.
The horse "walked into a bar" in the French town of Chantilly, north of Paris, after escaping its racing stable last week.
According to French newspaper Ouest-France, trainer Jean-Marie Beguigne said he lost control of the horse as he led her from a stable to the racecourse.
Mr Beguigne added the horse was a "runaway penchant".
The bar's owner, Stephane Jasmin, said no one was hurt in the incident although many were left stunned at the sight of the bucking horse.
