US President Donald Trump told a female reporter that she never thinks during a White House press conference today.
Fronting the press to discuss the new trade deal with Mexico and Canada, ABC's Cecila Vega prepared to ask the President a question.
After an initial pause from Vega, President Trump launched into one of his now trademark attacks on the media.
"She's shocked that I picked her," he began.
"I'm not, thank you Mr President," Ms Vega responded.
Mr Trump then told Vega, ABC's White House correspondent: "I know you're not thinking, you never do."
Similarly, when CNN's Kaitlan Collins asked a question about US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh early in the press conference, Mr Trump refused to answer. "Don't do that," he said. "Do you have a question on trade?"
When Collins protested, Trump wagged a finger and said, "Don't do that."
