Police name elderly driver killed in fatal crash in Taranaki

Police have released the name of the person killed in an accident involving a car and a truck in South Taranaki yesterday afternoon.

The man was 85-year-old Ronald Schultz of Hurleyville.

The incident took place between Joll Road and Petch Road, in Hurleyville, at around 3.05pm.

Inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the crash, police said.
