Dally M NRL Rugby League Awards 2018, Sydney, Australia. Wednesday 26 September 2018.

The Warriors' outstanding effort in this year's NRL has been ignored by legendary halfback Andrew Johns, with just one inclusion in his team of the season for 2018.

With the likes of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck named as the Dally M medallist - awarded to the best player in the NRL - and Jazz Tevaga winning the bench player of the year, the Warriors have nearly entirely snubbed, with only David Fusitu'a included in Johns' team.

Fusitu'a, 23, crossed over for 23 tries in 2018, one clear of Sharks winger Valentine Holmes, seeing him named in the number two jersey for the fictional side.

Elsewhere in the back three, Roosters fullback James Tedesco is preferred ahead of Tuivasa-Sheck and Kalyn Ponga - who was included as a bench player - two of the leading candidates for this year's Dally M medal.

The only Dally M winners to be included were Blake Ferguson on the left wing, five-eighth Cameron Munster, hooker Damien Cook, and lock Jason Taumalolo.

Andrew Johns' team of the season:

1. James Tedesco (Roosters), 2. David Fusitu'a (Warriors), 3. Latrell Mitchell (Roosters), 4. Waqa Blake (Panthers), 5. Blake Ferguson (Roosters), 6. Cameron Munster (Storm), 7. Mitchell Pearce (Knights), 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (Roosters), 9. Damien Cook (Rabbitohs), 10. Nelson Asofa-Solomona (Storm), 11. Viliame Kikau (Panthers), 12. Felise Kafusi (Storm), 13. Jason Taumalolo (Cowboys), 14. Kalyn Ponga (Knights), 15. Tariq Sims, 16. Reagan Campbell-Gillard, 17. Sam Burgess (Rabbitohs).
