The All Blacks coaching staff are pleased with the displays of winger Nehe Milner-Skudder for Manawatū in the Mitre 10 Cup, seeing him return to the squad for this weekend's Test with Argentina in Nelson.

Milner-Skudder, 27, was a notable omission from the All Blacks' squad for last month's Bledisloe Cup Tests, returning to provincial rugby to prove his worth to selectors.

The move appears to have worked, with assistant coach Ian Foster today speaking about the delight at Milner-Skudder's return.

"He just looks sharp," Foster said.

"He always creates stuff, we know that. It was more a matter of him going back of getting two or three consistent games on the wing, and getting those instincts for playing in that position again.

"He's been ready to play, but we've had too many players to put on the park, he was one person we felt would benefit from time doing that.

"He's came back in Auckland sharp, he came back in this week looking sharp, he keeps hammering on the door."
