Warriors' fans needn't worry over the fitness of stars Simon Mannering and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck heading into the opening weekend of the NRL finals, with coach Stephen Kearney assuring that both will be ready to face the Penrith Panthers on Saturday.
Mannering, 32, left the field shortly into the second half of Friday night's 20-16 win over the Canberra Raiders with a sternum injury, while captain Tuivasa-Sheck, 25, played on through an ankle injury.
Speaking to Stuff.co.nz though, Kearney made it clear that both players will be in contention for Saturday's finals opener.
"We'll monitor them both closely and my expectation is that they'll be ready to play," he said.
"But we'll see how they go, we'll give them every opportunity to play and now we know we're playing on Saturday, we've got our week worked out in terms of training days."
Kearney also said that five-eighth Blake Green should be available, having missed the end of the regular season with injury.
"At a pinch, he could have played last weekend, but it would have been a risk."
"We didn't want to take that risk with him and I know he was devastated, given that it was a big game for the footy club, for Simon (Mannering) and he wanted to be a part of it, but we had to make the decision for him.
"He's trained really well and he'll have an edge this week."
The Warriors will face the Penrith Panthers at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.
